About Lightopia

We create large-scale light festivals for cities and venues around the world.

Our Vision

Bringing cultural light experiences to global audiences.

Lightopia was created to share the beauty of Chinese lantern craftsmanship with the world. Our work focuses on turning cultural artistry into contemporary experiences that attract audiences and strengthen destinations. We design and deliver light festivals that highlight tradition, innovation, and the power of shared cultural experiences.

Our Story

Lightopia began with a simple goal: to bring authentic lantern art to international stages. Over the last decade, our team has delivered festivals across the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia, working with parks, estates, cities, and cultural institutions. Each installation is created through a combination of design, craftsmanship, and technical production that reflects both heritage and modern creativity.

Today, Lightopia is recognised for producing festivals that draw large audiences, support tourism, and create meaningful cultural impact. Our work has been featured in major media outlets and has received international awards for design and innovation.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create cultural experiences that bring people together. We focus on designs and installations that are visually engaging, culturally grounded, and built to suit the needs of each venue. From creative development to production and delivery, we aim to make Lightopia festivals accessible, enjoyable, and impactful for visitors of all ages.
